Over 2,000 attended the 2016 York County Caucus, a more than 80% increase over 2012. But most just came to vote for a candidate for president and leave. As a result, some municipal caucuses failed to gain a quorum while others, like the city of Saco, were unable to muster enough delegates to the state convention.
